Blue48 is a Maine based non-profit organization whose focus is help children impacted by suicide loss take important steps towards healing.
It was founded by Kerry and Justin Stailey, in memory of Kerry's father Myles (Blue) Bean who died by suicide in 2001,
Blue48 offers “Camp Zaffre”, a no-fee photography program for children aged 8-16 who have lost a family member to suicide.
The program, taught by Kerry Payne Stailey with the support of a licensed clinician, encourages children to express themselves visually, focus on the natural beauty that surrounds them and navigate their loss through art.
Blue48 also hosts annual fundraising events at Blenheim Park, a 16 acre lakeside estate in the beautiful midcoast region of Maine.
